Old Spoleto-Norcia Railway and ‘Cascata delle Marmore’ Waterfalls

This magnificent itinerary lasts a whole day and combines the two similar ‘From Castel San Felice to the Cascata delle Marmore’ and the ‘Old Spoleto-Norcia Railway’ with the difference that the lunch break will be near the magnificent village of San Felice, where you can visit the splendid abbey. Here the options include eating a packed lunch or opting to have lunch in the characteristic family-run ‘agriturismo’ (farm-stay) that operates in tandem with Exploring Umbria on this tour. This typical Umbrian farm is run entirely by an extraordinary family that takes care of everything: from animal breeding to the cultivation of crops that you can taste yourself, and from preserving and bottling other products such as saffron and jams to preparing lunch. A day dedicated to enjoying the great outdoors, having fun, admiring beautiful landscapes, but also authenticity and tradition. If these are the things you like, then this is the experience for you!

Recommended clothing

For this activity we recommend comfortable clothing that does not restrict your freedom of movement.
