Trekking to the Fersinone torrent: wilderness bathing

After the trekking, a wild and regenerating swim in the cool waters of the Fersinone torrent is the goal of this adventure. We will get to our destination by taking the panoramic path that starts from Migliano, with its medieval ruins towering over the deep valley that flanks the torrent. From the village the path continues, still flanked by the magnificent natural scenery that typifies this memorable trek.

The itinerary, a round-trip along the same route, follows a path through woods on natural terrain. A short stretch will be on uneven ground (riverbank pebbles) with water concentrated mostly in gullies and pools in the summer season, so we will probably need to wade across some points to reach the best bathing spots. The waters are not deep, but for safety reasons you must know how to swim. Whatever slopes there are, they are only very occasionally steep in some sections. Some parts of the route are exposed to the winds. There are no refreshment or water supply points, so we recommend you bring your own supplies.

Recommended clothing

For this activity we recommend comfortable clothing that does not restrict your freedom of movement.
Bring a windcheater/anorak with you, even if the activity takes place in the summer months.
We recommend you wear trekking footwear.

We also recommend you bring:
– A comfortable backpack suitable for cycling/walking
– A change of clothes (especially socks) in case of sudden rain
– Hat with a sun visor
– Sunscreen.
