If you’re looking to experience the adrenaline-charge of climbing, you have to go to Ferentillo, a small town in the province of Terni divided into two by the Nera river. This town is well known for one of the most beautiful rock walls in all of Italy. Called the Falesia di Ferentillo, it is very popular and is well known even at a European level, allowing climbing up to 30 metres high. You don’t need to be an expert to try your hand – and feet! – at climbing in this area: Valnerina offers a variety of rock walls suitable for all levels thanks to the numerous routes and itineraries with varying degrees of difficulty. The wall is kitted out with the latest equipment and allows climbing all year round thanks to their varied exposure to the sun.

Your climb will start with an introductory lesson, during which our expert instructor will show you the basics of the discipline so that you can enjoy climbing in total safety. You’ll be wearing comfortable clothing and all the necessary equipment and slings to get you ready for your adventure!

As you start your climb, you’ll feel the contact with the rock under your hands and you’ll slowly make your way up, feeling suspended but poised, while at the same time almost holding your breath out of sheer awe. With the strength of your arms, your legs and your mind you will reach your goal and feel a profound sense of satisfaction at the feat you’ve achieved. And from above you’ll be able to enjoy a stunning view and sense the energy released by nature and its elements: the rock, the water, the earth with its vegetation. Climbing in Valnerina is a unique experience that will put you to the test but also reward you with great satisfaction!

Nel pomeriggio, invece, un’attività a cui mi sono letteralmente appassionato: arrampicata. Un ringraziamento speciale al MAESTRO Paolo Caruso, un grande! Mi ha introdotto a questo sport partendo dai concetti basilari di equilibrio, baricentro del corpo ecc. Persona qualificatissima che spero di incontrare nuovamente per altre attività del genere.
