From the ‘Cascata delle Marmore’ waterfalls to Piediluco

On this tour we will take you on a trip in close contact with nature. The area in question has managed to preserve a remarkable degree of biodiversity despite the presence of man since ancient times.

We will start from the park connected to the Marmore waterfalls following paths that will initially take us very close to the flow of water, until we hear its roar. We will reach the first panoramic point almost immediately where we’ll have a really amazing view over the whole of the Valnerina (valley). We will then press on towards Piediluco, skirting the ‘drizzagno canal’, a structure that feeds the waterfall and the Galleto power plant.

We will then continue along the last part of the itinerary, characterized by stretches of flat paths and asphalt roads until we reach the village of Piediluco. There, we’ll skirt the lake, giving us breath-taking views of it, embraced by the lush greenery of the mountains. We will also have the opportunity to admire some unique plant formations that grow along the shores of the lake.

A day fully immersed in nature with places and landscapes that will satisfy you to the full, like food for the soul. Not to be missed!

Recommended clothing

For this activity we recommend comfortable clothing that does not restrict your freedom of movement.
Bring a windcheater/anorak with you, even if the activity takes place in the summer months.
We recommend you wear trekking footwear.

– A comfortable backpack suitable for cycling/walking
– A warm sweater, such as a technical sports shir, for sudden drops in temperature
– A change of clothes (especially socks) in case of sudden rain
– Hat with a sun visor
– Warm hat
– Gloves
– Sunscreen.
