3rd to 5th of June!

It will be three days of sport, fun, well-being, but most important is that it will all be for a good cause. L’impresa Rid4Good is a non-competitive cycling event, without rankings or prizes for the participants. The goal is to raise funds for the local communities to cope with health emergencies, by providing equipment and resources to the local facility: the Hospital of the Media Valle del Tevere.

This package will allow you to participate at the event and enjoy the whole day of sport as part of a magnificent group, but above all you will be staying at the facilities that we have selected for the participants. These are locations are immersed in the green of the Umbrian countryside, where nature, silence and relax will be accompaning you for your stay. Some examples of facilities are 1 2 3 4 5 6

The pre-event day will be dedicated to visit the area and get to know your fellow partecipants. You will have the opportunity to visit a winery in the Orvieto area, famous for the production of high quality wines. This will end with a tasting of typical products paired with 3 local labels. You can also visit the surrounding area, take a tour of Orvieto or Todi which are just few kilometers away.

On Saturday evening the organization will organize a charity dinner and you can decide to participate in if you like. Price is 30 euro, but availability is limited to 50 people, so let us know as soon as you can if you want to book your place. Sunday will instead be entirely dedicated to the cycling event. Breakfast in the agriturismo and ready for the biking day you have in front of you.

L’IMPRESA RIDE FOR GOOD EVENT

L’Impresa Ride4Good is open to anybody who is over 16 years of age. All riders must be members of a registered cycling club recognised by CONI (Italian National Olympic Committee). Italian and foreign cyclists not member of any registered club will be able to register and get a daily insurance coverage issued by the Italian Cycling Federation (FCI). All riders will be requested to provide a valid medical certificate for competitive cycling to sign in.

There will be 2 routes, both a mix of dirt and asphalt road. Only Gravel and MTB will be allowed and  e-bike will not be allowed.

• The long route will be 60 km, with 1230 meters of elevetion gain.
• The short route will be 34 km, with 630 meters of elevation gain.

Partners will be invited to give a monetary contribution for each cyclist  that will have completed the route within the time limit. The contribution set for this edition is: €120 for each rider the will complete the long route, €80 for each rider the will complete the short route.  All funds will be collected by ASD L’Impresa and then used to purchase the medical resources needed by the  hospital involved.
